As a planner of corporate events I wasnt sure this would fit the bill but I was pleasantly surprised. I was extremely pleased with the entire outing, especially our wonderful tour guide Jodi. She was the cutest little thing ever and it is beyond doubt that she loves what she does and has a great knowledge of the area. The Trolley yard was a really neat part of the tour and was very interesting. The restaurants that she took us were awesome as well. Pops Diner is a really neat 80's diner, the alcove is a groovy little coffee house, Primo's Tex Mex makes the best margarita's we found in Texas and Ketch-up burger bar had really great food (the fries were to die for). This was a great tour that I would highly recommend to others. Ask for Jodi You wont be disappointed

Jodi will be elated to be told about how much you enjoyed your tour! It’s quite a compliment coming from a planner of corporate events. Glad to hear you were so pleased with the food and the trolley and that you got a great sense of ”Texas Flair”… with a little extra flair from the margaritas!

A great activity for your visiting guests, but arrive hungry! Every bite was unique and delicious.
Jim, our guide, did a fantastic job. Not only did he provide information about our restaurant visits and food, but he had a wealth of information about the area. He was also able to give our group many recommendations for Uptown and Downtown "can't miss" destinations that left our visitors with great memories of their trip to Dallas.
The four restaurant stops were outstanding. Each provided generous samples of exceptional menu items, and super friendly service. Don't neglect to leave room for dessert at the end!!
Thank you, Jim!

Making memories on your tour is something we really love to hear! Jim is a terrific tour guide, and we’re glad he was able to give you recommendations for all the top destinations in Dallas. Knowing that you left the tour feeling the food was “unique and delicious,” as well as generous, is what we really enjoy hearing from our customers!

Our first time in uptown Dallas and my friend and I really wanted to get a feel for the area. The walking tour and restaurants were great, made even more so by the honest enthusiasm of our tour guide Vanessa who clearly loves what she does. Captain Mike was a great addition providing background of the historic homes. Even though there was a huge pub crawl going on that day the tour leaders took that in stride and didn't let it effect the day. The brief stop at the trolley yard was especially interesting. Our favorite restaurant was Baboush - we even went back that evening and picked up food to bring back to our hotel room. The only restaurant stop we weren't really impressed with was the Ketchup place, burgers seemed overcooked and would have been nice if they served individual sliders. It seemed kind of awkward to cut regular size burgers in half.

We're so glad that you enjoyed your first trip to Dallas and that our tour guides were able to help make your visit a success! They really do love what they do, and we're so glad that comes across to our guests. It's great that you had a chance to visit Baboush twice during your stay. It really is such a unique place! Also, that's a really great idea about burger sliders, and I will be sure to give Ketchup Bar all your feedback regarding your entire experience there. Thank you for taking the time to review us and to offer suggestions about how we can improve our tours.

Mrs. TexanAbroad booked a single ticket on this tour, as my traveling companion was in training. We had a very large group, but everyone was very friendly and I enjoyed visiting with all the other parties. The participating restaurants provided good service, and good food! My traveling companion and I went back that evening and the next to have dinner at some of the participating restaurants. Vanessa was a great tour guide: knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and very adept at keeping us all together. I loved the historic perspective of Up Town provided by Jim (aka Captain Dallas). Jim is a retired city of Dallas architecture planner, loves the city, and loves to recommend other parts of Dallas to visit. This is a great tour for visitors and locals alike!
