Some friends from near and far decided to celebrate a girlfriend's bachelorette by staying at Zaza and going out on the town in Dallas... loved the stay and hotel!! Check in was a breeze - the front desk staff was very nice and was able to check us in to one of our rooms a little early which was appreciated. I also commented on the front desk staffs outfits...they were wearing black suits with bright pink converse. They said it was for breast cancer awareness. Decor in the lobby and rooms is stylish and chic and the rooms were spacious. We had two rooms - one was a normal double, the other a suite.
The pool and hotel bar had music playing and it was a lively scene. Unfortunately, the pool was already closed...one of the front desk people said that it closes when winter starts or after the Texas vs. OSU game....???!!! I quickly learned that life in texas seem to revolve around football. We also visited the little art gallery and the girl that worked there was fantastic. She took the time to explain all of the different pieces with us and was very knowledgeable.
Another thing that was great was the hotels proximity to restaurants and bars. We walked everywhere that evening. This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Dallas for a weekend out on the town!
One negative but i think this is the case for most hotels - Parking $24 per day.
