“Unpretentious and pristinely fresh seafood”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

Dive in the Snider Plaza shopping district (plenty of free head in parking) is the perfect neighborhood spot. Good family restaurant though we were there as a couple. Order at the counter and then the food is freshly prepared and brought quickly to your table. We enjoyed a 3 salad sampler to share of hearts of palm, quinoa and kale/apple- all dressed lightly and very refreshing. My spouse ordered the ceviche which had a good spicy kick while I enjoyed the Jack Knife tartare (tuna ceviche) on a "smashed" avocado. Both were served with delicious plantain chips (we took home the extras.) Cold draft beer made it a perfect first visit. We'll be back.

“Casual good seafood”
Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

We loved this small casual seafood restaurant in Dallas. It is kid friendly and our grandkids love the kids menu. Both fresh fish nuggets and chicken nuggets with fruit and fried plantains were enjoyed. The cod sandwich was the best since Cayman. The ahi tuna wrap was also very good. Variety of beer, etc. we will go back next time we are in Dallas.

“Always love this place”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

We go out of our way to meet for lunch here. The food is always fresh and tasty.
The staff is friendly, the food is yummy and they have flavored iced tea? What's not to like!?

The food does take a while as it's cooked fresh.

“Good but Could be Better”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

The food is pretty good, very crowded but overall good lunch place. They do have amazing drinks at nite. The atmosphere is a hit or miss. I get a weird vibe when I eat there sometimes like the staff does seem that happy, not sure if that is coming from up above.

A bit on the higher $ price but it's ok.

“Not really my kind of food, but still good nonetheless”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

The wife and I were out in Dallas visiting some of her relatives and they suggested that we try Dive. The restaurant was just a short walk from their house, so we figured why not. The type of food that Dive serves is not really my cup of tea (seafood entrées, etc.), however, it was still good nonetheless. They have a nice selection of iced teas, not sweet tea, but I had to remember that I was no longer technically in the South. The restaurant itself is super clean and has a nice family atmosphere. Would recommend if you like this particular style.
