“Great little neighborhood eatery!”
Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

Yes, the place looks a little dated as it has endured several decades, and this adds to the charm. We live nearby and go here for a lunch or dinner of Italian comfort food. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are generous and the food is good. They have a bar, and the happy hour margaritas are decent. We have taken friends here for dinner, and everyone really enjoys the homemade dinner rolls...piping hot with soft flakey goodness inside with just the right crunchy crust. My favorite dinner is the chicken fettuccini Alfredo, serverd on a huge plate so there is quite enough to satisfy you for dinner and have leftovers for lunch the next day.

“The Best!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

This is the best Italian restaurant anywhere. I've loved Italian food all my life and can not find any better than Two Guys. I love the Tortilini ala panna its the best, the toritilini bolonise is also fabulous. I've had the seafood Alfredo and it is so good I have a hard time choosing. Don't waste your time or money on anything else just saying!!!

“60's decor, menu and prices to match!”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

This place looks like an Italian restaurant from the 50's or 60's. it is not well lit, I drove past it on a Friday night, it is next door to a seafood place that is brightly lit in blue neon. The inside ceiling is decorated to look like a vineyard with chianti bottles representing the grapes. Kind of dated, but so are the menus....most entres were $8.95. A lasagna/spaghetti/Chicken Parmagean special was $10.95 and the portions were good size, not giant size, and not small size. Flavor was good, but you have to like a heavy red garlic marinara sauce. House merlot or chianti by the glass cost $2.25. Not many places left in Dallas where you can eat a full meal with two glasses of wine for less than $20.

“Yes! This is Italian comfort food -”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

Affectionally called "Two Guys" by our family for 30+ years, this restaurant has been a mainstay while others have come and gone. We don't go every week or even every month, but each time is a treat. Our children (now in their 40s) and their children never turn down a chance to go to Two Guys; if they have the option, they will probably suggest it. Some of the original wait staff are serving our third generation.

TripAdvisor ratings are challenging. We know this is not "excellent" in terms of authentic, "gourmet" Italian (too much good sauce!) or in terms of elegance and formality. I must say I've never heard a complaint!

“Pizza and R.C. Cola Yum”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

Don't let the outside fool you- it looks are a bit run down but go inside- the dim lit restaurant with plastic grapes and vintage wine bottles hanging from the celing are a nice touch. It's always nice and quiet in the restaurant. The wait staff is boring but have been there a looong time- we seem to get the same lady for the last 7 years. But remember your coming here for the food.

Let me start by saying they serve R.C. cola - our favorite. The price is great, everything on the menu is awesome and tastes like homemade (except the sausage for the pizzas) and they serve fresh hot heavy rolls. Alfredo is really tasty too.
