Description: The atmosphere is Moroccan chic, the cocktails are smashing, and the small plates — like a perfect meze platter, a gorgeous moutabal du jardin salad, a cigarlike spin on chicken bastila, wonderful kefta kebab and more — are not just beautifully prepared, but well-priced, to boot. As grazing ops go, it doesn’t get much better than this alluring spot where Lebanon meets Morocco in West Village.

The food was fresh, tasty, and different from your everyday fare. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and encourages you to linger.

We visited in the morning as part of food/walking tour and enjoyed the food so much we came back and picked up dinner to go for enjoying in our hotel room. The three spread appetizer and the chicken on a bed of hummus were both delicious! We really enjoyed the pineapple infused vodka martini while we waited for our food.

This was the first stop on our Dallas Uptown tasting and walk. Everything was delicious. I actually planned to go back for dinner, but then we remembered that my traveling companion is allergic to mint, and decided not to chance it. (Many of these dishes contain mint.) BUT, when I'm back in Dallas without her, I will go to this restaurant again!

enjoyed everything here. The decor inside well done. The atomsphere in and outside. Earlier we dined inside on a food tour and was so impressed we went back at night and enjoyed a really nice hookah outside with a pot of tea and a pita appetizer. We also stayed long enough to then order a beef kabob to share also excellent. I encourage you to not hesitate to go to this restaurant. The food tour got us here provided by food tours of america well done baboush you were the best stop!

We arrived about 8:30 on a Thursday night. The place was hopping - in and out. We opted for out since the evening was lovely. Service was slow because there was a huge table of 15 or more that had arrived shortly before we did, but our waiter was charming and apologetic and did his best. We started each with one of their specialty martinis. My husband had the cardamon with the roasted pineapple and i had the pomegranate one, which I liked. He had two of his! We started with the Pastilla. You get two pieces that are flaky rolls the size of blintzes. They were OK but not great. The sweetened rose water with almonds was a very nice touch, but the fragrances were missing from the pastilla, like the cinnamon and roasted nuts. It kind of all tasted the same inside. Looked nice but... The tabouleh is outstanding and paired so nicely with the roasted lamb kabobs. And here again, the yogurt sauce was a nice complement. We finished with an order of the falafel, that came with the pita, chopped tomato salad, sauce, etc. It was very tasty and was a nice way to finish the meal. We shared everything and were full so no dessert this time!
