An unvelievably great hotel...architecture, amenities, staff and location are outstanding..what a greaty hotel. Wish every hotel was as good as this one.

Room Tip: Hallways can be long, so ask for a room closer to the elevator.

We really enjoyed our weeklong stay and the proximity to the Dallas convention center as they are attached. The place is very clean and modern being less than a year old. The staff was very helpful and easily fixed improper charges on our bill. Only complaint was inconsistent hours of pool bar which were not posted. The hotel and pool were packed on a Sunday evening and they closed the bar at 7 pm with the pool open until 10. Monday I think the staff decided.to close.at 7:30 with a packed pool and people sitting at the bar. Seem to missing out on a lot of revenue given alcohol's typical profit margin. Tips for the workers too are being missed

We stayed here to participate in the USA Taekwondo Nationals tournament in the adjacent Dallas Convention Center and it was a treat to be connected to the venue for easy access. The lobby and ground floor houses three restaurants and a convenience cafe along with a gift shop and a modern fireplace in the wall. Neat features in the room included a cell phone charging station by the bedside, a spacious bathroom with tv in mirror and fold-down bench in shower, a chair-and-a-half (perfect for reading), glass door mini refrigerator, dual cup coffee maker, and a motion-sensor light under the nightstand baseplate that shines softly for getting up in the middle of the night without waking others. A note - self parking is $18 per day, would be nice if it were offered along with other amenities as an upgrade with an increased charge to be inclusive. Also, there is a daily charge for wi fi in the room, but staff pointed out that if I joined Omni's loyalty program (no cost), one of the perks is free wi fi that can be used immediately.

We stayed at the Omni when we came to Dallas for the USA Taekwondo National Championships. We had booked throught the tournament, so expected to be relegated to some less desirable part of the hotel, but given the proximity to the convention center and the price, we were okay with that. But when we checked in, our rooms were on the top floor with a stunning view. The hotel is new, so still in pristine condition. The staff were wonderful at every point and helped make our week wonderful. I had expected to receive a little attitude since we were traveling with such a big group of kids, but they treated every member of our family no matter what age as if they were the booking guest. The pool was beautiful and as one reviewer mentioned, overrun with kids, but given that it was the official hotel for about three tournaments it was expected and still a good experience. We chilled in our cabana and ordered drinks while the kids swam. We would absolutely stay here again. I also loved the option of online room check in so that we could grab our keys and go when we arrived.

We stayed at the Omni hotel for the weekend, we were in Dallas for a wedding. The hotel is very nice, it has awesome views! Its new, very clean and the staff were very friendly. The only down side, which I thought almost ruined our trip, was that we had to wait to get our room for over an hour. They were making everyone who was checking in wait, apparently the cleaning staff were running behind. When they told us we had to wait, they couldn't tell us for how long, which worried us because we had the wedding that evening. However they did have a lounge for us who were waiting with free drinks & appetizers. That helped the situation a bit. We did finally get our room and made it to the wedding just in time. When we checked out, they also took off a nice amount off the balance and removed the valet, to make up for the wait. Overall they made up for the wait. The room had a great view of downtown, the breakfast buffet at Texas Spice was delicious! Overall I would recommend this hotel. Its close to all the downtown attractions, where Kennedy was shot, museums, convention center, historic district. The exterior of the hotel looks awesome at night. Its a very nice hotel!

We booked this hotel just as it was opening, so got a great deal. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows. We found the staff to be very courteous and willing to help with any problems, especially eager to comp meals for any issues.

I would have been happy to give this hotel a perfect rating expect for a few niggles : the pool area as mentioned previously is small and was overrun by kids, way too small for the amount of guests. The area itself was great, with views over the city as the sunset, made for a nice place to have evening drinks, but would have preferred a little less kid screaming noise.
Secondly, the maid did not empty the garbage bin in our room, or wash the glass from the previous evening's drinks. When I mentioned this to the check out clerk, I was told it was because they were a green hotel.... ??? Obviously when the temperature is 100 degrees and the outside fire is still burning for ambiance, that is not considered to be a contradiction to the green policy.

I would stay at this hotel again, it was in a good location, close to union station to access DFW, easy walk to West End and other attractions and handy to restaurants. It was also very comfortable. I would request a room away from the elevators and facing the city to get the best views. The light show at night is particularly appealing.
