Owner description: Reunion Tower is open! Adjoining the Hyatt Regency Dallas is the iconic Dallas landmark, Reunion Tower. The all-new GeO-Deck offers guests unparalleled views of Dallas through high-definition zoom cameras and an interactive digital-touch screen display, named the Halo, which lets guests see and engage with Dallas in new ways. Take a step outside and see the view first hand or use a telescope to magnify your view. Just above the GeO-Deck is Cloud Nine Cafe, open daily (check website for hours), which offers GeO-Deck guests food and drink options underneath a stylized Texas sky.The Reunion Tower experience isn't just about seeing what's below from hundreds of feet in the air, it's also about what's below the surface. Get a glimpse into the history, events and people that made Dallas what it is and what it will be. The GeO-Deck is easily accessible from the lobby, and tickets are available via walk-up or online. Make a visit to the GeO-Deck the first item on your Dallas itinerary!

Going to the tower was on our to-do list on this vacation. Find out it is closed with no plans to reopen. We shouldn't have to dine in an uppity restaurant for the view. Puck will never get a dime out of this family.

The observation deck will be reopened in fall 2013 with some eye-popping experiences that also, of course, includes the view of beautiful Dallas.

Had a really nice trip to the top of Reunion Tower recently. I hadn't been since the late eighties and it has been fully modernized and elegant-ized. :-) No more gawdy tourist-trap type atmosphere, but rather a classy place to enjoy the view and sample lots of interesting dim sum selections.

Myself and my husband visited Dallas in November 2012. This was for my 40th Birthday. It was the 22nd November but couldn't go that day as closed due to Thanksgiving. We went 2 days earlier instead. Everything about it was fantastic. The view, food and the staff. This has to be best restaurant we have been to. Had a ball. We saw lots of Dallas what a city. Also visted Southfork Ranch as a big fan of the show. That was amazing too. Had the most amazing 40th Birthday in Dallas will never forget it.

Thank you Renunion Tower for the experience.

Went to Happy hour and LOVED seeing all of Dallas. Especially enjoyed the Happy Hour cocktails. The appetizers were delicious, but a bit expensive. Be careful going to the loo...because the seating rotates and the bathrooms don't!

Really people, there is a restaurant you can get reservations and go to but that's not the observation deck. Unfortunately Wolfgang Puck feels Dallas does not need the observation deck as much as he needs storage. (from the top floors of the hotel you can see it's now used to store restaurant equipment). What a tremendous loss!!!!! I contacted the company that now owns it and they have no plans to ever open it.
