“Outstanding Dinner Experience during business travel.”
Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

I had seafood gumbo, a tuna fillet medium rare with jumbo crab lumps and dirty rice. The tuna and jumbo crab lumps exceeded my expectations in terms of flavor and texture. This is an item that was recommemded by the waitress Ashley since it is off the menu. i love it and the waitress was very attentive making sure everything was to my standards. If ever there again, it will definetely repeat the visit. Congratulations!

“Very Good Oysters”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Oh my, $5.95 for a dozen oysters...unheard of! Unless you come here for happy hour. They were wonderful. So were he mussels! Drinks were also very good. Nice bartenders.

“A bit pricey, limited menu.”
Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

While this is an one of many excellent choices at the DFW airport it is average in value and very good overall. Limited non alcohol drink selections. I can not give it an excellent rating. They could use more items on menu that are under twenty bucks. Smaller portion, larger price.

“Best food at DFW Airport”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Excellent selection of seafood and always fresh. Friendly service - it is NOT a fast food place, so you will need a little time, but the service is friendly and quick, considering it is a sit-down type of place.

“An Oasis in DFW”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

Plan a 2 hour layover on your next trip through DFW. Go to gate A25 and take the elevator or escalator down to an extraordinary experience. The decor adds to the ambiance and you will forget that you are at an airport. Get the Fried Alligator appetizer - tastes like chicken..no, really! The Creole sauce adds a spicy flavor and the crust is very delicate. This is my new favorite dish. I then had another appetizer - Grilled Shrimp Bruschetta. The baked goat cheese in a sea of spicy tomato sauce has a flavor to die for. This is also my new favorite dish.

My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass with lump crab gratin. I sampled the dish with the sauteed spinach and roasted tomatoes. This dish was wonderful. We both had a side order of asparagus that was expertly prepared. My frozen margarita with a side car of tequila and her cosmopolitan were excellent.

This Pappadeaux is one of the best restaurants I have visited. When we are at DFW next month, we will make our way to gate A25 for an epicurian delight. The promise of excellent food almost makes the TSA experience bearable. Almost.
