This is Korea bath house, it is common in Asia. You buy a entrance tix, would spent all day and night. Very clean, good quality American and Korea food is reasonable price. My son and I were only able to spent 5 hour there. I did body scrub and massage while my son was in water park and movie. Definitely will go back next time in Dallas
I don't think the place is as well maintained, as polished, or as well staffed as Spa Castle, but overall it's a nice place to go to relax.
One advantage they do have is more indoor pool area. The biggest disadvantage they have is NO outdoor pool area at all.
They also still have their swim up bar, Spa Castle has removed theirs and added a regular bar by the indoor pool area.
They sauna area tends to get a little crowded, but that can be said of anywhere. The food is overpriced, but that's as you would expect in this sort of "resort" style location.
If you feel like lounging in a pool, with a drink, maybe having a quick sweat in the sauna, or just generally getting an affordable, relaxing, resort-type afternoon, this is a good place to go. Always check Groupon/Living social for discounts, or go to their website, they often have a coupon for "first time visitors".
If you're used to a higher end spa experience this is not the place for you! I learned that the hard way! And honestly, I've had much nicer experiences and the prices were less. I also didn't realize how long I had to wait for certain services of which I told them I didn't want to wait that long but they still tried to charge me on the way out. I had seen that another person had said they aren't very friendly. I would have to agree.
This was my first time & I will go again & stay longer. I enjoyed the water park with the jets and whirlpool. There were a lot of families but not too crowded. There are several saunas but I only visited 2- the firebox & infrared during this visit. Family friendly water park--movies--and many areas to hang out & relax-even sleep! I also want to use the women's spa. Massages, waxing, accu-pressure extra. Bring socks, bathing suit, towel with you. Plan on staying several hours.
We came here because we found a deal on Groupon for this place, and I have to say it was not what was expected. The spa is run by Korean staff, and upon arrival they ask that you remove your shoes, and give you a bracelet with your locker number with the locker key attached. At the next kiosk, they give you your "King's Spa Uniform", which is a mustard-colored oversized T-shirt, and mustard unisex basketball-type shorts, and then direct you to the locker room. There are restroom stalls in the locker room, which are nice for you to use to change into swimwear, as well as an entrance to a "treatment room". However, before we entered the treatment room in our swimsuits, we observed a sign that NO swimsuits were allowed! My travel companion and I didn't feel comfortable entering the room au natural, so we decided on just going to the waterpark section of the spa. The water was very warm, and most of the hydrotherapy jets were enjoyable, but we were not aware that the family pool, which houses the waterslide, was closed Monday through Thursday, and since we were there on a Tuesday, we were disappointed that we were unable to take advantage of those amenities. It was just an OK experience, we will not be returning.
This was my second visit to King Spa and the first time with my wife. We indulged ourselves in the couples massage and it was well worth it. Its a great place for families and those who enjoy a good sweat.
