Was told this place had the best burgers so was interested to see if it holds up. It's a small place and was very busy at 2pm on Labor Day. The staff were very efficient and worked well together to get orders out, tables cleared, and customers seated as soon as possible. Ordered the cheeseburger with grilled onions and jalepenos and an order of onion rings. The onion rings were good, but nothing exceptional, but the burger WAS one of the best burgers I've eaten in a restaurant. It was full of flavor and juicy. Must agree that this place does have the best burgers!

So have seen, heard about this place for a while, took a buddy trip on a Saturday to see for ourselves. It is SMALL, we waited in line to order about 10 minutes, waited to sit for about another 10 minutes after arriving around 11AM.

Ordered cheeseburger "pink" with grilled jalapenos, side of fries for $9.05 + tax. Meat was cooked perfectly, fries retained a bit too much grease from the fryer. Our group also ordered cheesy tots, comes with bacon crumbles, sliced jalapenos, very tasty but filling side.

Believe the reviews about the bun being destroyed before you can finish, it just mashed away into a greasy thin pulp about half way thru, it was fork and finger time.

Bottom line, not a super special burger, but a tasty burger nonetheless. If you are in the area or just need to get this place crossed off your list of well-known DFW burger places, by all means go. Just be prepared to wash your hands several times afterwards to get the grease off, then go hit the gym.

We went to this place around 12:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Between the time we got in line and the time we got our food it was 45 minutes. The burgers were great, you order the burger pink or no pink. I had the pink burger which was more medium well. The burger was really big and very good. We also got the cheese fries and onion rings. The onion rings were more like a beer batter and very worth the extra calories. It was well worth the wait.

Good Burger & fries, Bottle & Draft Beer selection and $ was great! Hot fresh food, getting a table can be a challenge during peak times. Owner / Manager nice, if he feels like it or knows you as a regular. The staff is always nice and eager to please.

If you're looking for a family place, this is NOT it. The owner was absolutely rude and so are the waitresses. If you enjoy waiting over 15 minutes for a burger & fries with a waitress who rolls her eyes at you, then this is the place for you. I used to like this restaurant, but it's not worth the wait or the bad attitudes that run rampant in Maple & Motor. GO TO GOODFRIEND BURGER & BAR...it's much better in regard to food & service.
