As you will have seen from the other reviews, Aloft is a converted warehouse, with a lot of industrial chic - exposed concrete, strange angles, bits of industrial history. It is well decked out, but has relatively few traditional hotel touches - no big restaurant for example. The rooms are well sized, the wifi is free (kudos to the hotel for that one!), and the staff friendly. The lack of the restaurant is no problem, because you can just pop around the corner to one of the many local coffee houses or brunch venues. Oh wait. You can't, because the Aloft isn't near any. If this hotel was in Brooklyn it would be fantastic. In Dallas, only good.
