Visited this restaurant for the first time recently. Had a very good experience. we were welcomed warmly, brought right to our table, and greeted promptly by our waiter. It was a Tuesday night, but the place was busy the entire time we were there.
Every dish we had was prepared the way we wanted it, and they were very accommodating to one of our party's lactose intolerance. I had the Bay of Fundy tuna, which was very firm, moist, and flavorful. My wife had the tortilla soup, which was delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the preparation of several dishes we were interested in. The wine list is not extensive, but of high quality.
The atmosphere is an interesting blend of saloon and European, but comes off as quintessentially Dallas.
There are a couple of items which might be detractions for some, a combination of which prevented me from rating it 5 stars: There is no children's menu (obviously not their target audience); it is very noisy, which inhibited conversation; it is a bit pricey; and the only parking option is valet. Taken alone, only the noise issue would be a consideration for our return, but we would not bring young people with us again.
