Owner description: A municipal building where conventions are held.

The NRA convention featured fifteen acres of displays that all fit comfortably in this convention center. Large hotels nearby made this an ideal convention site. Easy access to Dallas by air through Love Field. Plenty of restrooms, high ceilings.

Went to NRA meetings. Place was nice enough. Food choices are limited and a ripoff.
Eat outside if u can.

This is a nice venue for this type of event. I’ve attended the Dallas Safari Club Convention here over the years, and it’s always been a good experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the facility clean. It is fairly easy to get in and out with ample parking in the area. If there were any protesters, they were far enough away to not get in the way; we didn’t see them anyway. Good show all around.

It never ceases to amaze me on how they set up all the courts for the Vball tournaments. It was literally 113 courts on one level. Love coming to this venue!

Dallas has lovely people but the convention center is a broad expanse with hard cement floors that try your arches. Be sure to grasp the sections A, B, C and so forth layout in room placement as they determine if you are on the west, east, northeast, upstairs or downstairs locations. Standard convention center food is expensive and limited but proud Big D gets extra points for great recycling efforts here. Restrooms are widely spaced. Wifi can apparently be an extra charge, depending on your conference host. Interesting view of adjacent cemetery makes for much conversation.
