Reciprocal Garden Program is a GREAT bargain. My husband and I are full time RVers and are traveling all across the country. We joined the horticultural society for less then $100 and this was our sixth "free admission" to one of 300 member gardens in the US. It has more then paid for itself--check it out!!
The "12 Days of Christmas" was lovely--even in the daytime when our membership would allow us free admission. The temporary "Byers Carolers" display was excellent. Any person who goes "all-out" decorating for Christmas, this is a must see. Check the hours it is open. Words can not describe the joy and Christmas spirit you'll have after seeing it. Thank you to Semyan family for sharing their collection.

A beautiful garden in the middle of the big city. Designed to keep you walking all around the grounds and seeing all of the many floral designs and exhibits. In the fall season there were so many pumpkins and mums, just beautiful. Well worth the time and money. Don't forget your camera! A must see in spring and fall for all ages!

We went during the day. The dancing ladies "weren't". Some kind of electronic problem. Otherwise what a superb display. Personal favorites were the swans and maids a milking. What a great day.

If you have little ones or folks that have trouble walking long distances, pace yourself. Otherwise, a fabulous venue all four seasons.

This is strictly in regards to the Arboretum's 12 Days of Christmas exhibit -- It was terrible! I was excited to go because I have wanted to go to the Arboretum for years but it was always far enough that my husband and I wouldn't go. A group of us went to the 12 Days exhibit and were floored by how pitiful it was. There are no Christmas lights in the trees, no extra Christmas decorations, no lighting or clear directions on the paths to go from one gazebo to the next... It was terribly disappointing. The gazebos were a cute idea and over-the-top, but weird. I was glad it was a group and not date night for my husband and me because I would have caught a lot of flack for dragging him there, ha! I'd recommend saving your time and money and visiting a Christmas display elsewhere.
