White Rock Lake, in addition to being a popular spot for runners, is a great place to take a walk on a nice day. The lake path is long, so you can walk as long as you want. A few city parks are also available on the way.

We visited the park close to dark after a day of sightseeing in Dallas. you could see the Dallas downtown skyline from where we were so it was a nice way to end the day. Will have to visit again and being our bikes to ride around. they do have bike rentals but we were too late

White rock lake is a scenic section of Dallas. There are nice walking and cycling tracks around it. A bicycle rental is available near the place and is the recommended mode of transport around the lake. An easy pace with stops along the way will take a couple of hours and leave the you refreshed. A check on the weather before is highly recommended.

This lake park is situated In the City of Dallas on White Rock Creek, a tributary of the Trinity River. Fishing piers and boating available along with a panoramic view of White rock dam. While strolling through this park I saw a lot of people jogging and riding bikes, having picnics and just enjoying the beautiful park! It has a very long path to walk with many birds and wildlife to see. There are beautiful mansions and estates around the lake. a place of serene natural beauty.
