The sound is indescribable, it's also a place of sheer beauty.

This is one of the best music halls in the world, according to Elvis Costello, Wynton Marsalis and Tony Bennett, who each made that comment in concerts I attended at the Meyerson.

More than 25 years ago I attended concert rehearsals there, led by legendary conductor and violinist Yehudi Menuhin, before the Meyerson's grand opening. It's a wonderful place to hear the orchestra, and also popular music.

I have been to the Meyerson on several occassions. I have been seated in the front row , the balcony and everywhere in between. There is literally not a bad seat in the house. Music just flows through here.

If you have a chance to see the symphony you simply MUST.

You won't be disappointed

WOW - What an incredible place. There is not a bad seat in the hall. All the acquostics are perfect. The HUGE organ pipes settled into the front wall are really a site to see - no where else have I seen such a display.

The venue itself is beautiful. The last time I was there I saw Johnny Mathis from the third row. The venue gives an intimate feeling, no matter where you sit. However, the staff could use more than a little improvement. Luckily, you don't have to deal with the staff too much during the show though.
