“Hidden Away”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2012

The memorial itself is not on Dealey Plaza. You have to walk down Main Street about 100 yards and it is situated on the right.....you can't miss it. It is not the white structures which are at the top of Dealey Plaza and the Grassy Knoll as some people think!
It's a fairly large yet unobtrusive memorial. White towering walls, forming a large box, but without a roof. This is to symbolise JFK's spirit being free to float upwards and not trapped. I can see it is not to everyone's taste, however I liked the simplicity and the symbolism.
If you are going to Dealey Plaza then you need to view this to complete your JFK visit.

“A big white screen!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

This is just a big white screen, i dont really think its worth visiting save for paying your respects to JFK. Theres no statue or picture of him and was expecting something like that. I thought it would be something a shrine but this thing just comes across as a giant piece of art. Theres always Dealey Plaza and the 6th floor museum nearby so id suggest seeing them first then coming to this afterwards to make sure you have enough time to get the good stuff in.

“Kennedy's Memorial Part Two. Don't miss it.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

I visited John kennedy's Libray at Boston and it's very well documented from the beginning until his tragic death, including the glorious moments of his brilliant career. This Memorial Plaza in Dallas lets the curtain falls, describing minute by minute (sometimes by seconds) how this infamous act happened. Don't miss the audio guide (it's included at the ticket price). You'll be touched, even not knowing who President Kennedy was.

There was assistance there to picture the moment and time... don't think I'll ever forget where I was when it happened. Most of America doesn't either

“So subtle it is hard to find”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012

This memorial is not even marked. You have to ask someone what it is. Not even located in Dealey Plaza where the assassination occurred. Later, I was made to understand that people from Dallas are embarrassed that the assassination occured in Dallas and that is the reason for the "quiet" memorial site.
