My husband and I recently spent about 3 hours walking through the Dallas World Aquarium and it was amazing. You need at least a couple of hours to get through the maze like exhibits but it's worth it. All the staffers are very friendly and happy to answer questions about the "residents". In addition to the tons of marine life, there are dozens of beautiful species of birds. Most of which I've never seen before. There are monkeys, crocodiles, river otters and my favorite, the penguins. We watched the keepers interacting with some of the animals which was great. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend for families with kids.

We really wanted to visit the aquarium on our recent visit to Dallas, we went to the zoo earlier in the day and visited the aquarium later that evening. I was surprised that we went through most of the exhibits in an hour and a half. That being said it was a nice experience just needs more water exhibits.

Enjoyed the aquarium very much. Was expecting a little more fish but our grand daughter enjoyed seeing the sloth, the ocelot and the flamingos. We were able to use the stroller but she didn't want to stay in it. It's great how they went from the top of the rainforest to the bottom where all the fish are. Saw some things I had not seen before. Our grand daughter loved the penguins. Ate at the Jungle Cafe. Very good. Would highly recommend this to our friends with kids. Easy parking also.

The Dallas Workd Aquarium is great for a couple hours of entertainment. The building hosts several environments in which to view animals. There isnt too much to read to gain knowledge but it is really pretty. There is an aviary, rainforest, big cat dry area, penguins. They have an otter that I've only seen a couple times that I've been there. I feel kind of sorry for him since now I've been to zoosk with large otter areas. It would seem this one doesn't have enough room to enjoy himself. There is an alligator that was very close to the walking path that my daughter loved. He inspired her birthday party theme. The big cat area wasnt very homey for them as it was glass cages without too much natural habitat for them. But overall the kids loved it, the adults enjoyed it for a couple hours one afternoon. I would caution you that I felt it was a bit expensive for what it was. I think the Perot Museum is about the same price and it was a better afternoon for us. No animals but more interactive.

Recently we visited the aquarium, it’s a great place to take young children short enough to enjoy the exhibits but long enough so children are entertained.
