What an amazing place the way it is laid out you don’t miss a thing,
Variety of animals incredible some I have never seen in all the Zoos and aquariums I have been to in England and other countries.
Our 2 year old grandson loved it and it was pushchair and wheelchair friendly,can’t wait until we visit again when next in Dallas visiting from a England.
This place was packed with people, many of which are lacking in common courtesy. The exhibits were more of a rain forest setting rather than an aquarium. It wasn't terrible, but certainly wasn't what I was hoping for. Dallas could learn a thing or two from an aquarium like the one in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I have no desire to return to DWA.
Took Seniors out for sightseeing. Chose the Aquarium due to heat. Seniors are discounted. We were there a little over 2 hours and they were amazed from the moment we started up the entrance. Very walkable and easy for wheelchairs and strollers. We went on a Thursday at 2:00. No large crowds in late afternoons. They close at 5:00. Traffic leaving at 4:00 just starting to get heavy so leave by 3:30. I overpaid for parking because I didn’t drive around looking for cheaper lot. Cost me $75 for 2 adults and a senior with parking. No food bought. Little pricey but the reactions from the senior was worth it.
This aquarium was truly beautiful. There could stand be some interactive portions added but in all it was a good trip. I think the price is a bit much for no interactive portions. Wear comfortable shoes. It's allot of walking, strollers to dodge. Enjoy.
The aquarium is pretty nice but a little claustrophobic and it seems as much about birds as it is about fish. It kinda freaked out my toddler because there are a lot of narrow pathways with shrieking birds overhead. Also, with parking and admissions, the day ends up being very expensive.
