Loved this place!!! It was a nice experience for our entire group ages 4-64. The staff was professional and Informative. Beautiful place where you could get close to and actual have a good view of all the fish and animals.

It pays to get in early as it becomes busy fast, but is worth a look. I took my family there and had a great morning, and was very happy with the displays. We also had lunch in the restaurant on one of the higher levels and it was very good.
I've been to a number of zoos and aquariums through the middle U.S. The Dallas World Aquarium is average, especially for the price. Best part was the aviary. I must admit, I am forever spoiled by the Omaha Zoo, which is pretty outstanding.
The aquarium ---overcrowded and no one to give directions. We thought we would see more exotic fish. It's about an hour tour and there are eating areas if you need a break from the crowd.
We took our 8 year old daughter to the aquarium this past weekend. We arrived before they opened and found great parking! We waited on line for just a few minutes, and then got right in. We enjoyed the aquarium for over an hour, feeling like we were the only ones there. Closer to our departure, it started to get crowed, but was still very lite. My daughter loved being able to get so close to the sloth, loved the shark tunnel and the flamingos. Such a great little trip!
I feel this aquarium s overrated. It is too small for the number of people they allow in at any given time.
