Firstly the entrance to the aquarium is amazing! Have to visit yourself to truely be able to understand what I mean!

Once inside it is laid out really logically, one way so you cannot get lost! You get to see the animals at all different heights and angles due to the walkway starting high up and spiralling down. It is made up of the general aquarium animals you will find with the addition of monkeys, birds (toucans!) a sloth and apparently a Jaguar but we didn’t see it! (Heard off of regulars). Reptiles are also present!

We thoroughly enjoyed the visit, the shows with the zookeepers throughout the day are very informative and I’m sure your kids will have a blast!

The gift shop was filled with great choices, some expensive and some quite affordable. You’d be able to find something for each person budget.

You truly submerge yourself in the animals environment. The exhibits are so open you really feel like you are in nature with them as opposed to looking through glass or into a cage. It is a bit confusing so definitely hang onto the map. There is so much to see all around you that you can’t forget to look behind you. I took a 10 year old with me and the entire time he couldn’t stop looking around telling me to “look here”.

My teenage daughter and I decided to visit this afternoon and only took us 1 - 1 hour and 15 minutes to walk through the entire exhibit. I would say it was really nicely designed but 50% birds, 25% small animals and reptiles and maybe 25% fish but that may be too high, and variety of fish very limited. There are not a lot fish here, which is what we hoped for. Having visited the Dallas and Fort Worth Zoos previously, I would visit either them over this one any day to see a larger variety of animals. This is not an indoor activity either, there is shade but it’s humid and crowded. There are a few loose birds flying around. This would probably be small enough and easy to manage small kids with just enough for them, but not much to impress older kids and adults.

We spent half a day at this aquarium, they did a really great job with the design. My kids had a good time exploring and it wasn't too crowded. We got to see the giant river otters during a feeding that happens 5 times a day. The sloth was out and active which was great. Didn't come across any hands on type of experiences but we still had a good time.

This was an amazing place to go to. There were TONS of animals to check out right from the beginning, and the path was awesome! I think if we walked and read every single thing here, we probably would have been there all day.

There were some parts of the visit where some animals were by themselves, and it made us wonder why there weren't more of it's kind there. The staff were friendly, and the space was great, even at busy times.
