Overall my grandfather and I really enjoyed the experience. He is 88 with poor vision but he had a great time. It is a very neat place that is part zoo and part aquarium. I thought it was nice to get a variety rather than just fish tank after fish tank. I have been to other aquariums and sometimes they get monotonous but not this one.
I agree with other reviewers that there really wasn't much to help you understand what was in many of the tanks and cages. There would be 15 birds and nothing to tell you what they were or where they live much less anything about their lifestyle/history.
Also as others have said...the pathways are rather narrow so strollers and children do get in the way frequently. If you are in no mood for kids I would wait to go another time.
The theater inside was a huge waste of time. I could hardly see or hear what they were showing so my grandfather had no chance at understanding what was going on. Projectors are so cheap and easy to set up they could have done a much better job.
Overall it was a solid experience. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something interesting to do for an hour or so.
