Staying overnight between flights this is a great hotel. If you come in on an international flight in terminal D this is just as you come out of immigration and baggage claim. The other Hyatt at the airport is impossible to get to! Fantastic service and fantastic rooms. Not cheap but excellent accommodation.

After a long flight from Poland I stayed at the Grand Hyatt and was able to rest and get ready for my next flight to Chile. My lugagge diodn't arrive and they helped me tracking and staying on "alert mode" at all times.
This is the best overnight hotel that I have ever stayed at, it is right outside the baggage claim area, so no need for shuttles just go upstairs and enjoy! I would definetely stay here again.

I have stayed here twice before for regularly scheduled workshops. Clean, upscale, business-travel centered hotel right at one of the DFW terminals. Nice health club and spa. Great food! On this third trip, I booked later than I should have, and faced a sold-out situation. Thanks to Amanda, the Assistant Front Office Manager, I was able to secure a room. It took some work and patience. She could have just as easily cur me loose. But she quietly and professionally got this to work. So I am not a bigger fan than before.

Room Tip: If you want to get into Terminal to eat, it takes about 20 minutes. But for long stays, it is a nice...

Classy, clean, great staff - really enjoyed staying here, and never even thought about the fact this is REALLY an airport hotel - with TSA checkpoints at the bottom of the hotel escalator! Very sleek and modern, too - I'd stay there again for business in Dallas!

One night stay due to a long layover. Great room, view of the runway, but none of the noise. Clean, modern appearance. Helpful staff. Reasonably (for an airport location) priced bar and restaurant. Would not hesitate to stay here for another DFW overnight.

In Dallas for airport meetings, a group of us stayed and the DFW Grand Hyatt. This is a fine place. I do not know what group rate was for the room charges (but the hotel web site notes something like $259 per night for a typical king room). In a separate posting I will mention the Met restaurant located in the hotel. for convenience you can't beat it. It is directly on the Skylink (airport tram). Once you leave the security area of the airport, you enter the hotel. Also convenient is the immediate proximity to American Airlines ticket counters (and some foreign carrier counters), entry to the TSA security check, etc. Super convenient. Reception was smooth and flawless. You need your key to access any floor and this is a nice security feature.

The room I had was quite large, with a large modern bathroom. The bed was remarkably comfortable, with good pillows. The lighting is good and all lights can be controlled from the bedside (if you want to). There is a nice desk, with good lighting and an internet connection. There is a card in the room that lists many many items you might have forgotten that will be supplied free if you ask (e.g. toothpaste, comb, and all manner of other things). There is a separate list of things that can be borrowed. Two telephones were in the room - by the bed and on the desk. The TV was fully modern and delivered excellent reception. There are two sets of curtains that roll down from the ceiling - one sheer and the other essentially totally light-blocking. They worked great. There was nothing I could find fault with in the room and it was sparkling clean - and kept that way each day. Each night you find in your room a card that gets you a free coffee in the bar area on the lobby level. And, apparently the entire hotel is smoke free.

This is a fine place and I would happily stay here again when I need this sort of airport lodging.

Extra: We had a meeting room on the 7th floor that we used for a series of interviews. This was a spacious room with a good conference table and a small kitchen where refreshments were served (which could be isolated to that service to that area would not disturb a meeting).

Room Tip: Choose facing east or west. Facing east sees across the core of the airport. Facing west is closer t...
