After flying in from Sydney we were looking forward to stretching out on a comfortable soft bed. Let me tell you that the Hyatt did not let us down. The bed were so soft and inviting! We had such a good sleep! The staff were friendly and the food was good. As the hotel is off one of the terminals, it's very quick and easy to find and more importantly it's location makes it convenient and easy to get on your next flight. Would highly recommend this hotel.

If you have a layover at DFW, this is absolutely the best place to stay. It's connected to DFW Terminal D. Rooms are comfortable and stylish. Food downstairs is very good. Even though the hotel is close to the runways, the rooms are quiet and dark. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt last weekend and expected the same ho hum quality. I was completely mistaken. From the moment I checked in, the service was impeccable and the surroundings made you forget you were in an airport.

When I checked in there was a frustrating issue with my credit card. Although it wasn't their fault, they immediately credited me with a complimentary drink at the bar and upgraded my room to the top floor. This special touch definitely made my stay even better!

The room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here for business or for an extended layover.

Room Tip: Try and secure a room on the 8th floor. The high ceilings are worth the extra price!

Perfect layover. Up the escalator in Terminal D. Rooms recently refurbished. Blackout shades. Really nice staff. More than courteous -- friendly, attentive. Good food and nice quality low cost wine in restaurant. iOnly downer -- pillows like bricks. Soften them up, please.

I've written this before, but it keeps getting reinforced: Staying at a Hyatt always gives me the feeling that I'm being nibbled to death by ducks. The big picture is fine, but the details can get really annoying.

As with most Hyatts, this one is placed in a great location - right at the airport. Step out of your plane, step onto the Air Tram, step out at the hotel. Yes, it's a little weird to visit a city and never leave the airport - but in the context of a business meeting, where you want to minimize the hassle of getting in and getting out, it's ideal.

The room was perfectly adequate, with all the latest electronic bells and whistles, and a great view of the runways, if you enjoy watching planes land and take off. (It gets old for me after 10 or 15 minutes.) But here come the ducks: The ultra-high-tech TV could not bring up my bill or get me checked out, as it promised it would. The refrigerator was crammed with expensive snacks that I didn't want (11 bucks for a handful of cashews? Really?) leaving no room for my own food stash. A TV is supposed to be a convenience for the guest, not a venue for food and beverage sales. And of course, my standard pet peeve -- there is simply no reason any hotel should still be charging for internet access, but Hyatt still does -- plus tax. That's more than an annoyance, it's an insult. And the elevators follow the usual Hyatt formula. In every Four Seasons in the world, you push the button, an elevator opens 5 seconds later. In Hyatts, you wait minutes - sometimes many minutes - for a crowded car (meaning everyone else is waiting too).

But the meeting facilities are perfectly adequate, and if you're in DFW on business, and want to get in and get out, this is the hotel for you - despite the ducks.

We appreciate you taking the time to post your stay comments. All feedback is taken seriously, and we value our guests' opinions.

We do hope to earn your business again, and the following might make your next stay more enjoyable. While our mini-bars provide convenient access to a quick bite, we understand that our guests may want to store their own items in a refrigerator. If available, we will happily provide you with one upon request. As for room service, you can still view a paper menu in the compendium located on the desk and place an order to private dining from your in-room phone. Lastly, we do offer a "business plan" rate that includes, among a few other extras, Internet access.

Again, we appreciate your comments and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Best regards,
Lance Marrin

How convenient- you deplane, grab your luggage and take the escalator up to the lobby. Very helpful hotel staff, bright rooms, very user friendly. Could not ask for anything more. Finish your meeting, grab your luggage, go down one flight and you are back at checkin and/or TSA. A marvelous hasslefree experience!
