The Stoneleigh was our go to for many years. It was a great place to get away for a weekend. Great bar/staff. Valets remember your name. Quiet but still had an upbeat vibe. Couples and guest from all ages and demographics could mingle and still feel secluded.
THE POOL PARTY, DJ MUSIC, FORTUNE TELLERS, FASHION SHOWS, Etc are killing a once great hotel. Please stop chasing millennials and stop trying to be the W or Zaza.
We will not return until management makes the decision to get away from the party scene.
If they need a "draw" so bad they should invest in their restaurant. Just look at Knife at the Highland. It brings in tons of people and is in the news/ social media / Texas monthly. Imagine how well someone like Tesar would do in a beautiful historic hotel like the Stoneleigh.
Bottom line. Management needs to cater to their guest that stay their, not to the ones that have drinks by the pool because they can't afford a pool of their own, much less stay at a 4 star hotel. More
