I stayed here on new years weekend and I knew that it was a good hotel. Every one was friendly and ready to make your stay as easy and comforting as possible. From the professional and friendly valet service all the way to the comfortable sheets and pillows in my bed room. If your coming to Dallas, for business or pleasure, adolphus is where to stay.

Great classic hotel with excellent service. Wonderful but pricey "French Dining Room." Spacious guest rooms (I stayed in 2 different rooms).

However, after being assured of Internet availability, on arrival found that it had limited or no coverage most of the time (I even moved to another room)., Had to go to lobby to connect as did many other guests. Spoke to ISP (ATT) who told me that lack of coverage was a known problem. Don't know what hotel is doing to resolve problem. Would stay again if reliable room Internet; otherwise, will stay elsewhere.

Apparently some rooms have updated TVs: if I had known I would have requested one! Our room looked into a very dark courtyard so we had no daylight during our stay: ask for a room with light. Housekeeping staff was mediocre.

I booked two rooms via Priceline at a great rate.It was a beautiful, classice hotel with great service. One of the rooms was very small (bed was way too small for two adults that weren't married) but they changed it to a king, no question. Took the courtesy car to the American Airlines arena, which was a great service. Excellent bathroom/shower and ammenities. Loved the free wi-fi too. Only negatives were the $24 valet parking (no self park) and the small blood stain on our bed's comfortor (eek).

Hello fellow- travelers!

I stayed at the Adolphus for New Year’s Eve with my boyfriend and our experience was just splendid! This was our second time staying here and we were able to get a room on the 20th floor, again. The view from the 20th floor is just spectacular and being in the heart of the city in a corner room for New Year’s Eve is just priceless.

The reason I chose the Adolphus and will continue to choose it is because their customer service is excellent and their attention to detail is superb. We had a wonderful dinner the evening of the 31st and enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast the next morning; I can’t imagine a better way to have spent the last day of 2010 and first day of 2011!

I highly recommend this hotel. They will do whatever it takes to make your stay wonderful and everyone is so polite and attentive.

Sincerely,

Anita

If the bathrooms had a little updating here, this place would be perfect. Rooms are beautiful, very large and comfortable (with walk-in closets, for crying out loud). Every staff member is very well trained and exceptionally professional and friendly. Great location with many good restaurants, bars and sites within walking distance. The lobby, French Room restaurant and bar are all amazing. Free high speed internet (which is not usually the case in upscale hotels). Parking is a little pricey, but valet service is right-on.
