Stayed at this property twice. 1st time got a room with a street view. Rooms with a back of the building view, no so nice. But if you're not going to spend lots of time in your room, it does not matter anyway; does it?

Very nice property, updated with nice looking and comfortable furniture. Free Wi-fi is a plus if you need to work on the road. Valet parking is a little pricey but worth it. Staff is courteous. Learning your way around the first two floors is interesting.

Looking forward to my next stay there.

This place was centered right in the middle of Downtown Dallas, walking distance to the Dealy Plaza and many resturants, only a 30 min drive from the Stockyards in Fort Worth and well worth the money. The rooms are spacius w/ a great living area and bathroom, the beds were a little worn and my spouse ended sleeping in her own bed due to the smallness of them but it was a great night's sleep for me. There are 2 bars downstairs, one was very intimate and other a great place to watch the football game. There's a starbucks across the street and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

We loved stayiing at the Adolphus (one night only, while we went to the State Fair). The AAA rate was very reasonable, on a Friday night. Our room was elegant, very clean, and spacious. A comfortable king bed made for a good night's sleep after a long day at the Fair and dinner in the West End (walking distance from the hotel). The character and ambience of an historical hotel such as this tops the "chain" hotels any time. Look for the bellman with the "Elvis" haircut and great Southern charm. "Thank ya very much" for an overall charming stay at the Adolphus.

Stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend in Dallas to catch a Cowboys game, It was convienent and very centrally located to the Downtown area, walking distance to a lot of restuarants and the Dealy Plaza which is also a must see. This hotel was very pretty to admire, the lobby has a wall of keys in the back which is a great photo shot. At night there is a ambiance that follows you and the rooms are spacious. The mystery about the 19th floor is just spooky getting off the elevator but it made for some fun ghost stories. We would stay here again!

The Adolphus is great historic hotel in downtown Dallas. It is a bit out of the way, but that works in its favor most of the time. The staff is very helpful and they are quick to offer a hotel car to run you around if you ask. I opted to walk and most places in downtown area you would want to visit like the Westend Historic District, the Arts District, and Victory Park area are about 15- 30 minute walk from the hotel. You get a good room and a very helpful staff however, and to be honest you see more of the city if you put in the time to take the short walks. As always, you should be mindful of your surrounding, but I had no problems.
