My wife and I stayed at the Apolphus for two nights. We went to a concert a few miles away and celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at Tthe French Room on-site. We were greeted very warmly. While the hotel is a glimpse back at old-money opulence, the staff is not stuffy at all. Everyone was friendly. The rooms are quite large for a downtown property and very comfortable.

The French Room provided us with a memorable, though expectedly pricey, anniversary splurge meal. The food was and service were both just spot-on and the wine was perfect. Overall, a great little getaway.

The price for this hotel was competitive with any hotel in the DFW area and the location made it very convenient to see the entire area. The parking is a little expensive but that is the only complaint. The hotel was very nice and the room was clean and well maintained.

Stayed here for a night on business. The room was priced at around 100 per night - fairly good value. There was a bit of a strange smell from the plumbing for a while, but it went away. The bathrooms are very nice. All of the staff was pleasant, and helpful, making the experience very enjoyable. The in room breakfast was surprisingly good too. The hotel has a very historic feel to it and is classically decorated. If you have more free time than I did on my trip, one could really enjoy the atmosphere.

The hotel has free internet, which is nice, but it was really slow.

From the front desk staff, to the concierge, the bell men, and restaurant staff - everyone seems proud of their role at the Adolphus and you are greeted with friendly and efficient service. The hotel is classic elegance from a more romantic era. The bedding is first rate and comfortable. The marble bathroom is spacious and rich. The Adolphus is a very good hotel experience.

I was always greeted with a smile and with a helpful attitude. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms and inroom bathrooms were very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
