I'm french, visiting Dallas, i stayed at the Sheraton on 2 differents rooms, the first one was big on central tower, the second one was small, but ok on the south tower. I had a perfect stay, the hotel is wonderfull, great service (except for the concierge who told me there is no bus or public transportation for Dallas love field airport, after spending 30$ for a cab, i founded that there is a bus for only 1.75$ !!! ) but my stay was delicious, the swiming pool is a great spot to hang out, even at night ! the gay bars of Dallas are only a short taxi drive (around 8$), perfect location downtown.wifi is free @ the lobby, but not in the room (13-18$ a day !) Be carefull of international calls from the room, i paid 33.50$ for a 2 mn call to France !!!

Dear Willyag,

We are pleased you had a great experience with us at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. We apologize for any confusion when it comes to airport transportation. Super Shuttle does support both DFW Airport and Love Field, and will make sure that all of our Team Members are aware of this option for our guests moving forward.

Thank you again for your comments, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Sheraton should you find your way back to Dallas in the future.

Sincerely, Ray Hammer – General Manager

We stayed for one night. I had read some poor reviews from people who booked off of Priceline (or similar) so I was somewhat apprehensive going in. However, we did not have any issues. There is a parking lot across the street from the back of the hotel (we could just see our car from the hotel window) and it cost $5 for 24 hours of parking. The hotel is large and the lobby is very nice. We were very near the elevator and did hear an occasional "ding" but it was not loud enough to wake up my light-sleeping wife. The only thing I could find to complain about was that the furniture and fixtures are a mix of old and new. For example, the bathroom was re-done with new tile but it has the old fixtures and toilet. The desk is adequate but it obviously old. The bed was fine. We did have to wait about 5 minutes to check in but they had 3 people working the desk at 9pm and they were getting through the line pretty quickly. The hotel is right next to the train so we were able to get to the State Fair grounds in about 5 or 10 minutes. Overall--a posive experience.

Have stayed at Sheratons before in Canada & Malaysia .

Got a competitive weekend rate to include buffet breakfast in one of their junior executive suites.Room on 5th floor in North tower was huge & newly renovated with very comfortable beds. City view included.

Slept well as a very quiet floor ,despite loud young sports fans staying in other parts of the hotel this weekend.

Buffet breakfast would have been excellent value even if paying $17 incl tax. Full range of cooked fare along with cereals, porridge, fruit ( including what seemed to be fresh raspberries & blackberries.. .very tasty !) & pasteries etc etc. Staff here as in rest of the hotel were very friendly & efficient.

Location of hotel is convenient for walking to Dealy Plaza & 6th floor museum etc & strolling along Elm /Main /Houston/ Commerce streets was interesting in itself to retrace events of November 1963.

Super Shuttle will take you directly to & from DFW airport for $17 each way & stops at hotel's entrance.

Would definitely recommend the Sheraton Dallas as a comfortable & welcoming hotel well situated for tourists visiting downtown Dallas West End historic district.

We have just returned from a weekend stay at the Dallas Sheraton in downtown Dallas, TX. We stayed on the 26th floor in the North Tower in a standard room. The room was clean, spacious, and easy to access via the jet speed elevators. The hotel is located by a DART rail stop (Pearl St.), which was great for going to the big state fair and Cotton Bowl. We did not eat any meals there as the prices seemed expensive for a hotel restaurant. The kiosk check-in was a snap and kept us out of the check-in line at the desk. I would recommend the hotel to anyone for a downtown Dallas stay. Their 90 million dollar rennovation showed well.

We got a great price for this hotel by booking online! The room was clean and very nice. We also had a great view of the city from our window. We were able to walk to a place to eat so that was nice. The only thing to watch out for is that over night parking cost $20. However, we got our reservations for cheap enough online that it was still a good deal.
