This downtown location can't be beat for the price and amenities. The rooms are great and the low price includes happy hour and milk and cookies at night. They also offer a free shuttle to attractions within 3 miles. It's within a mile of American Airlines Center, the West End, and the original Niemann's in just steps from the hotel entrance. It's easy to hop on 75 for a quick 10 minute trip to Northpark Center. And, to top it all off, the service from all of the staff is impeccable! This is our new place to stay without doubt!

Room Tip: The suite upgrade is worth it!

We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. From our stay we came to the following conclusion.

Pro's:
>Beautiful hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean.
>Great Location downtown, Neiman Marcus is a block down for shopping.
>Great Restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Perry's Steakhouse.
>Great Value for money.

Con's:
>Valet is $24 a night + tips. A bit on the pricey side considering the Four Season Hotel and St. Regis charge less...
>Parking is a nightmare if you decide to park elsewhere. Be careful because in several outdoor parking lots there is glass on the floor from break-ins at night.

Overall, I'd recommend this hotel.

My stay at the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas was great. The room was clean and just as described. Complimentary breakfast was great and the staff was helpful. One free drink at the bar every evening of whatever the house specials are.

This hotel is lovely and has an Art Deco feel about it. Oil barons and their dames clad in sequins stay here on the week ends. A good entree to Texas for an out oF towner. The rooms were small but cozy and well decorated. The view sucks as all one gets is a close up of another big building. Staff were kind and helpful.

Dallas and walking around is limited to in and around the hotel as it gets seedy pretty fast. The museum and free trolley are close by. We loved the tex mex places nearby, the concierge had super recommendations.

If we went back to Dallas, I'd stay at the Magnolia.

We got a special deal on a suite which was great. The service was nice. The rooms are updated but not super new and modern. It's nice to be downtown. It was great to relax in the lounge in the evening and enjoy the cookies and milk too.

Room Tip: The suite was one room with queen bed, a full kitchen and a furnished living room with table.
