It's pretty old and in a pretty bad area. It's convenient to UT Southwestern Medical Center. The free breakfast was nice and staff was great. The rooms were adequate. It seemed very tired though. You can tell they do their very best to keep up an older property but if you're picky, this probably isn't the place for you.

I would like to personally thank the lady who makes the breakfast, she is so polite and makes a very nice and fresh variety of different types of food and fresh fruit to choose from. We come back to this establishment 2-3 times a year to take my father in law to UT Southwestern and the location is perfect to avoid the traffic congestion. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with the amenities for extended stay.

Pros: Convenient if you are working or need to be in that particular area; comfortable rooms; elevators...however...

Cons:

* Rooms open to the outside
* There are eight or so buildings and each building has a courtyard of sorts in the center with all of the rooms opening to the outside. Although there is only one entryway to each building, safety is a concern because this hotel is located in not-so-safe part of the city
* If you are on the side of I-35 be prepared for noise
* The TV in the bedroom was preposterously small (~17")
* Breakfast was just okay

I cannot recommend this hotel.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate all information as it helps provide a consistent and high value product for all of our guests. We are currently in the process of upgrading our TV's to the new entertainment platform and will have larger tv's in the bedroom shortly.

The location was right off 35 which made it super easy to get places. The property was up to par overall, but no safe in the rooms which made me hesitant. Overall the stay and the venue was really nice. I could not find an elevator to get to the higher floors.

We are glad that you chose to stay at our hotel. We have 4 elevators spread throughout the property that allow for easy access in each of our buildings. As well, we offer a safety deposit box at the front desk. I hope you will return to our hotel again on your next trip to Dallas.

This hotel is currently being updated. The remodeled rooms are nice with modern decor. There is a nice outdoor pool, sport court, and commons area to cook outside. There was plenty of food at breakfast, and always a fresh cookie in the afternoon. The staff are very friendly.
This hotel is located near the freeway, and my friend had his car broken into during his stay; so beware.

Room Tip: away from the freeway
