Four of us had breakfast at this attractive cafe on Oak Lawn. (the other La Dunis do not serve breakfast). The waiter was very helpful. When we asked for suggestions, he mentioned the items which are most popular. We had Ham & Gruyere cheese Scramble, Breakfast Tacos, Salsa Baked Eggs, and a Pecan roll. Everything was delicious!

Just finished a late brunch at the La Duni on Oak Lawn, a long time favorite place to eat. After many years of consistent performance, it does not disappoint. Fantastic pop overs, freshly baked in addition to expertly seasoned foods ranging from eggs, chicken, pulled pork and steak. Their coffees are equally delicious.
A great new feature, they have take-out after 1:00 pm and you can call it in.

Hip place in leafy neighborhood, great Cuban music, lovely welcome and cool looking menu preceded by excellent coffee. The main dishes were nice, no more, good size (i.e. not large) servings and cute presentation for the homemade granola yogurt dish. The egg on brioche dish was way too "bready" but interesting. So all good so far only who wants to hear negative sales tactics hammered into a nice young couple who were doing a wedding cake tasting at the next table (10am!). Could someone offer positive marketing and selling tips to the bakery people? It sounded like a bad script and gave us all a feeling of being surplus to requirement...take home message: if you want breakfast there, ask not to be placed near the wedding cake testing table. We had no way of knowing as we were there before it all started and half way through our breakfast already.
