Had a great bachelorette weekend at La Vista. The house is absolutely adorable and we loved the the turquoise floors. The house is perfect for any type of weekend getaway for family or friends. It is so peaceful and quite we didn't want to leave. The river is a short 2 minute walk down to the water and is absolutely gorgeous. The large porch area is a great hang out spot anytime of day. Hoping to be back again very soon!
We enjoyed our stay here!! The cabin was very nice, clean and inviting!! Loved the huge porch... We drank our coffee every morning, watch the sun set, listen and watched the birds, cooked, and played games with the family there. The Location was a plus..very quite with just a few minute walk on the private trail to the river that has nice shallow parts to sit and relax or a deep area to swim. Sandy is very sweet and was very responsive when I had a question with anything. Would definitely go again!!
Great place to stay, plenty of room and the furnishings were outstanding. Proximity to the river was wonderful. Right on river road close to Andy's which helped when needing things like ice and rentals. The creek bed was dry this go round but the walk to the river was not bad at all. All in all it was a wonderful location and amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the La Vista cabin. The cabin set up, the location to the river, and the location of the cabin between Garner and Concan was awesome.
We were celebrating our 30 wedding anniversary and needed a place to park our brains for a while. On the river there was nobody within 100 yards. No tube cities floating by. Just put your lounge chair in the river and grab a book. The cabin is furnished well but from experience you always bring close hangers.
We spent hours playing backgammon on the patio with the campfire lighting the trail path while watching the fireflies. The cabin is off the beaten path on CR 350. They request trash to be taken to station which is now located in building behind Andy's. Go to Dora's for little take home sake for back yard. Grab a pie from Concan Pie's. Eat it up.
