We've been eating here for years and we love it. It's not authentic mexican food, it's tex-mex. I don't care for the unseasoned blah authentic. The chips are cooked fresh, and we love the fajitas. This is the only place i can eat and not be burping for the rest of the day. Service has always been very good, they know what we want when we walk in the door. Very clean and very good. Can't please everyone, but we've always been pleased here. Try it for yourself!.

“Not even close imho”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

We used to frequent this place regularly, and it wasn't bad overall (sans the service being completely inexcusable). I'm not sure what happened in the last couple of years, but it's gone downhill. Not even close to authentic mexican food in my opinion.

“Vacation 2012”
Reviewed May 25, 2012 via mobile

Not used to having someone hand me a menu then tell me where to seat myself, and not even a hello. There is no smokin or non smoking section, everyone sits wherever the guy at the front tells you to sit. Food arrived at the table fast, hot and was good. Portions are great for the price, except my husband ordered chicken tacos and each taco had about 3 stips of chicken each. Salsa is really tasty, the right amount of kick. Don't recommend getting a glass of water, you can taste the chemicals the city puts in it. We get better "authentic" Mexican food in Kentucky. I'm sure the locals love this place, there's not much else, but if your driving through KEEP GOING.

Sorry you were upset that you were handed a menu..we were busy and tried to let you sit down instead of standing at the door. We are not authentic Mexican food, we are more of a tex-mex, flavors of the southwest style. We are a small mom and pop business and do the best we can. You said your food and service was good, so I don't know why you would say to KEEP DRIVING .

“Awesome!”
Reviewed November 18, 2011

We ate here on the way back home from a family vacation and the food was absolutely wonderful! We had the sour cream chicken enchiladas, which by the way DID NOT have too much cheese on them and you could tell that the fajita chicken was freshly made, chicken fried steak so tender you could cut it with a fork, and a plate that had an enchilada, taco, and tamale on it. All of it was delicious and we each cleaned our plates! The service was excellent and the place had a nice relaxing atmosphere to it. I don't know what Aaron T was smoking when he was here but it must of not been very good stuff by the review he gave. FIVE STARS!! This place is a must eat!

“Good Tex-Mex”
Reviewed August 13, 2011

Good Tex-Mex, we each had a different dish and all were good. Good chips & they do give each diner an individual bowl of salsa. Friendly staff. Somewhat strange Indian display inside adds a quirky touch.
