We always enjoy having guests stay for several days and ended up feeling part of your wedding party! Sorry we beat your team at the pub quiz on sunday!! We were so pleased you had such a lovely weekend and hope you have another excuse to return to Mersham soon. With best wishes to you all, Caroline & Geoffrey.

We had a wonderful time at the Stone Green Farm. In fact, we would have loved to stay longer. The farm has been beautifully restored; it dates from the 15th century and you sense the history, which is combined with the taste and comfort that Caroline and Geoffrey have worked so hard to achieve and provide. While we had reserved the family room we were kindly given the oak room, which is spectacular, and a wonderful separate room for our daughter. Caroline and Geoffrey are perfect hosts and the breakfast was simply delicious. Strongly recommended!

We are really pleased you enjoyed staying with us and intend to return to Kent even though the weather was so unkind to you this time. Thank you for your kind words about the renovation work at Stone Green Farm, we are always pleased when guests appreciate the quirkiness of such an old property - a few squeaky boards and uneven floors. We look forward to seeing you again when you visit Kent and don't forget we have loads of suggestions of things to do on our website - www.stonegreenfarm.co.uk/links. With best wishes to you all, Caroline & Geoffrey

We arrived late at Stone Green Farm after a very exhausting trip from Frankfurt, Germany to Ashford - and were instantaneously reanimated upon seeing our cosy room (Bosworth room), perfectly equipped with a very comfortable bed, fluffy towels, etc.
After a perfect and refreshing night's sleep we enjoyed a sensational breakfast (the world's best pancakes) and had a nice chat with our lovely hosts, Caroline and Geoffrey.
Then - unfortunately - it was time to leave to start walking the North Downs Way.

Good evening Maria, we were so pleased to read your review. It is always good to hear that Stone Green Farm was a great start to a weekend away from home. Your praise for the pancakes is also appreciated! We hope you both enjoyed your walk along the North Downs Way and the weather allowed you some chance to see the amazing views. Do remember us if you are visiting Kent again. With kind regards Caroline & Geoffrey

We've just spent 2 nights at Stone Green Farm together with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. Visually the house is a delight and the log-burner a cheering sight on a damp April evening. Caroline and Geoffrey are superb hosts, who treat you like family friends. Set in a peaceful and picturesque part of Kent, the farmhouse is beautifully appointed, comfortable and very welcoming. The breakfasts are to die for!

A great stopping-off point for the continent - but we should also pass on the information that the house is only 32 mins by train to the Olympic Stadium in east London.

Find an excuse to visit Stone Green Farm!

Good evening to you all! We thoroughly enjoyed having you all stay, including our youngest visitor yet at only 11 weeks old! We know our guests appreciate a cheery fire when they arrive in damp weather and the chance to draw breath with a cup of tea and some homemade cake. We find our family parties all like having the chance to spend time together in the sitting room and were pleased you were able to have some time to use it whilst you were here. Don't forget us if you are in the area again! We look forward to see the baby (probably running around and playing on the trampoline!) again with you all. Regards Caroline & Geoffrey

Would definitely recommend staying at Stone Green Farm. It was lovely to come in from a days sight seeing to be giving tea and cake by the fire. Caroline and Geoffrey were so friendly and accomodating, we even got to see their son's falcon! Was sad to leave and will hopefully visit again in the future!

Serena, it was lovely meeting you and your mother. We can only apologise that the weather was wetter than Ireland over Easter!! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay, it is always good hearing all our different parties of guests laughing together at breakfast. With kind regards Caroline & Geoffrey

My wife and I stayed for a night prior to our departure for Eurotunnel. Stone Green Farm is a wonderful place to stay. Caroline and Geoffrey made our visit a really special occasion. Nothing was too much trouble.Excellent accomodation. Very good breakfast. Our two chocolate labrador puppies were made extremely welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the very large grounds. They certainly want to stay again !
Now we have found such an idyllic place we shall certainly be staying again many times.

Many thanks John and Jacqui for your kind words. It was a pleasure to meet you and discover a great friend of yours would be staying the following night - a pure co-incidence! We are looking forward to welcoming you back on your return to the UK later in the year. Enjoy the Med this summer! Regards Caroline & Geoffrey

My boyfriend and I stayed for a night following a friend's wedding. Prior to our stay, Caroline and Geoffrey were great dealing with our booking and providing other info we needed such as local taxi numbers. When we arrived, Caroline greeted us with tea and gorgeous lemon drizzle cake - just what we needed! The bedroom was so comfortable and cosy with everything you need including a hair dryer, tea, fresh milk and chocolate biccies! The bathroom was massive. Breakfast was delicious. I loved the selection of local produce - the marmalade was delicious. Caroline and Geoffrey are really friendly without being intrusive. Would definitely stay again, but for longer next time! The little touches are what makes it so special, including a folder about the history of the B&B and local info, and Caroline closing the curtains before we got back in the evening.

We are so pleased you both enjoyed staying with us at SGF. We are always pleased to help with taxis, restaurant bookings etc if it makes the weekend run a little more smoothly. Thanks for the kind words about the room. We try to think what we would like to see when we are away. We always hope that we can be remembered as part of a weekend away not just "the B&B" where we stayed. Do try to visit again. Kent is a beautiful county and should warm up soon!! With kind regards Caroline & Geoffrey
