The restaurant is in need of an interior remodel. It's tired-looking and the booth seats are so low you end up with the table at chest height unless you are 6'5 or taller.
The menu, too, could use a change. The pizzas are fine, and we are grateful for the gluten-free option. Our 2 sons vote that Boston's GF pizza is the best of all the places we have tried. But some of the other dishes are just not up to standard. I've tried the pasta, the salmon, and several other items, and they were very blah at best. I do like their nachos, which are made with flour tortillas, but they consistently scorch the top of the chips so if you don't like "charred" nachos, don't order them.
Of course, like almost every other business in College Station, the service is slow when school isn't in session. Once the semester starts, more staff is brought on and things hum a little faster.
