"One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in" would be a good description for this one. The only good thing I can say about it was that the room was fairly clean. The parking lot and surrounding areas were dirty with litter everywhere, the pool was nasty with algae all along the sides and bottom, the grass around the walkways was high ankle to knee deep, and the guest laundry room was so dark and dirty I didn't want to step inside. The iron supplied with the room had been left on something that melted to the bottom and wouldn't come off, so trying to use it was not going to happen. When I went to the front desk to ask for a replacement, I was given one from a storage room that had another hotel chain's name written in black magic marker on the side of it, and I was told that I had to return it after using it. That was ok, because it didn't work very well, turning itself off and on every 30 seconds or so. Towels and wash cloths were stiff, stained and scratchy. There were 5 of us there, but we had to ask for extra towels every day because they would only leave us 2--3. The 'free continental breakfast' area was littered with food crumbs, lint and hair. The three hotel staff that I interacted with were unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude. If I have occasion to visit this area again, I will NOT be staying here.
