I live in El Paso and heard about this restaurant from friends. It is about 8 miles out and sets right off the Clint exit on I-10. It is a slice of real Americana and it a great representation of restaurants of years past. They specialize in Mexican and American cuisine. We had both and each is a winner. My test of a good restaurant is chicken fried steak. It was done just right with cream gravy on the top. Very delicious! The Mexican was equally delicious. The enchilada sauce was smoky and delicious and the tacos (no pre-formed shells here) were out of sight! No tons of filler in the taco meat and they rocked the house! This is a great people watching place, full of locals and waitresses who call you "honey!"
