“What a hidden gem of a restaurant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Jardin Corona in Cedar Park was the second restaurant I ate at after moving to Texas. (The first was a Kerbey Lane at the old South Lamar location.) The food and atmosphere were great the first time, and they've been consistently wonderful ever since.

I don't know if Jardin Corona is family run, but it sure has a family feel. We appreciate the great service, and really enjoy the inexpensive, tasty food. This is a also wonderful place to relax over breakfast on the weekends. It's usually not crowded, and since we are soccer buffs, it's nice to watch soccer or other sports on t.v. while savoring the Super Jardin, chorimigas or chilaquiles. For dinner, the "Super Toucan" is popular with us, as is the Chicken Mole.

As you might guess, I'm giving Jardin Corona an "Excellent" rating for its combination of low-price, good food, with wonderful family atmosphere. No matter how busy it's been, all the staff have been professional, cheerful, and nice.

Among the attractions is the fact that Jardin Corona is in an unassuming little strip mall with some great local businesses. If I hadn't been taken to Jardin Corona, I probably wouldn't have found it (for a long time) by myself. So - take a shortcut and go there sooner rather than later!

“Best Mexican Food in Cedar Park”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

We have been to Jardin Corona several times over the years. The best thing about Jardine is the food. As other reviewers have noted, Jardin has some excellent lunch plates at reasonable prices. The salsa is good, which is always a good sign for a Mexican restaurant.

Like all other restaurants, Jardin is more expensive at dinner. It has a wide menu selection, which has seldom disappointed. I have enjoyed the pechuga a la parilla and the chipotle enchiladas.

The only downside to Jardin is that the service sometimes can be less than excellent and there are fancier places to eat. But if you want a good solid reliable Mexican meal in Cedar Park, Jardin is the best place to go.

“Lunch Specials”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

Came with friends from lunch and was very happy with the assortment offered on their menu. I opted for the Toucan original and icy cold margarita which is the best deal in town! No waiting- in and out super fast !

“Inexpensive quick lunch specials”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Jardin Corona is certainly not my favorite tex-mex restaurant, but they're excellent for an inexpensive and super quick lunch (providing you order from the lunch menu). For about $6 you can get a fairly tasty plate of food and a drink.

The extensive menu includes all the standard tex-mex fare, plus a few specialties not found everywhere. My favorite items are their burritos and enchiladas, though most items (especially the guacamole) could use a little salt or at least more attention to seasonings.

The Cedar Park location is in a not-great looking strip mall, off old Highway 183. Service is quick and attentive, but not too friendly.

All in all, it's a decent choice, but you can do better.

“Great for the price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

I live in CP and this is my favorite place to go. Been here many, many times. Over the years the food has gotten more expensive and smaller in amounts although still a good price. Last few times I have talked with my husband about the service. It is getting worse. It's like the servers don't care about their patrons. The bathroom has never ever been clean. Not since 1998 anyway. There's a New Mexican restaurant in town that's being compared to Jardin and getting good reviews. Watch out JC....you just might be getting replaced. It's time to starting taking care of your customers or you will lose them.
