Not the menu it was loaded with choices, The best wasn't the tour of Italy I had witch was good or the wife's Lagrangian. It was the quite at last a restaurant that you carry on a conversation with out being drowned by noise and back ground music.

Reall good food and wine. The tourist who come here usally cant believe that hidden here in Canyon Lake we have a small touch of great food. This is a family run business and the food is prepared by the famillia. This place always has customers here so come a little early to get a table.

Take some time to relax and don't be in a hurry no one in Canyon Lake ever is, leave that life in Houston, Dallas or San Antonio or where ever your from. The owner lives here and she is always around making sure things roll smoothly.

The food is fresh authentic and there is a good selection of wines. Since this is the Lake, dress is casual but dont be a slob and wear swim wear off the lake and no one wants to see your white trash beer tank tops or your nasty other off the boat look, save that for Lucky's a block away.

The prices are reasonable. The crowd favorite is the hot bread with the dish of Oilive oil for dipping before your meal.
In the evenings the piano player takes the request with some tip money and it can get pretty croweded so make some extra time to eat and dont be so in such a hurry-relax, visit, drink and unwind. If it is busy it may take a while, but hey your most likley on vacation so chill out dude and dudette's. Just remember to be respectful of our town and our ways.

Try the veal and a Cab or maybe a seafood dish with a white vine.
No reservations except for me and few others who are good paying locals.

We ate here our first night in Canyon Lake and we were so pleased with our meal. My husband and kids had the pizza and said it was very good. I had the veal picatta and it was very good. Service was great and very helpful offering advise on things to do in Canyon Lake. Will go back when in the area!

Great food, service very disappointing. Took over 30 minutes for us to get our appetizer and about 45 minutes to get our main meal..

We got seated right away on a Sunday night; and found the food was great! We loved the mozzarella marinara appetizer... (the crabcakes weren't our favorite, pretty bland... even with the dill sauce...) The homemade bread was excellent... We both got marsala dishes... chicken and veal... they BOTH were excellent. The sides of pasta were very good! Our waitress kept our glasses full... and was attentive. Our table had a peek a boo view of the lake, which we enjoyed! And for dessert? The best spumoni we have tasted in years: pistachio, chocolate and cherry! Fabulous! We will be back! Next time, the parmigiana!!! Tastefully decorated... the colors were wonderful... nice art!
