We stayed on the third floor and that was fine for us at 50+. The floors were creaky but I didn't hear other guest's movement but we were on the top floor. Hosts were gracious. We were on the go to Palo Duro and Caprock State Parks and didn't have a chance to take advantage of the inticing relaxing areas around the house.

Van and Jill are excellent hosts. Breakfast was elegant and delicious. Our room(Jason's Loft) was very roomy and quiet. We were able to just relax and enjoy being away from everything. The house is remarkable with great interior design and beauty. We plan to stay there again! The location is near downtown Canyon.

We stayed here while we explored nearby Palo Duro Canyon. Van and Jill are very personable and capable. Loved the location, the room (top of the stairs, windows on two sides), and the breakfast. Thanks!

Hudspeth House was delightful with excellent and friendly service. The room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Van and Jill were gracious and helpful hosts and gave us tips about local attractions and restaurants. The location is convenient to the WTAM University Museum and Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We will definitely stay there again.

Hudspeth House is a beautiful place, comfortable and quiet, with a pleasing ambience, fitting decor and a comfortable bed. And a delicious breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's all here: beautiful, old, home full of antiques and history; 5-star quality breakfast; great rooms; and the greatest host family ever. We felt so comfortable it was hard to leave. As a matter of fact our trip to nearby Palo Duro Canyon had to put off in favor of just enjoying the Hudspeth House. By the way, this is the house where the famous artist, Georgia O'keefe ate her meals while teaching at the local college.

Imagine looking forward to an upscale relaxation treat after driving 2 hrs from TX TECH plus HORSEBACK RIDING in the colorful Palo Duro Canyon. Now you settle in to the Metro familarily with the largeness of TEXAS! The hosts had warm cookies and beverage to start the mood after exchanging the around town highlights. We had no trouble relaxing and feeling like this magnificent home was our's. A comfortable sleep and scrumptious breakfast in a delightful setting made our memorable start to a new day a definite return in the future!
