Went to Trade Days with the cousins again. Boy, did my feet hurt by the end of the day. One cousin got stuff for his camera, one cousin got the makings of a Christmas wreath and some stone ground cornmeal, one got metal for a project, I got a tie-dyed tee shirt and Roll N Dough Southern Pecan Pie muffin mix. (Man, is it GOOD!) Oh, almost forgot the cousins got a beautiful print by a Texas artist, George Boutwell. It hangs over the couch in their living room currently. Be sure to stop by Mr. Boutwell's booth if he's there. If you live in Texas, you're bound to see something familiar. Fee for parking but it's only $5.

Everything you want or need for anything! Pretty much overwhelming. We spent all day there Friday and most of Saturday. Very crowded. Some of the used things people wanted new prices for - not good. Had a great time and will go back again.

Well worth the hour drive to get there. Get there early for the best parking. I usually park at the lot on the left just across from the main gate. Easy to get out in the afternoon and convenient when I want to put things in my trunk. Lots of good deals and food. Very crowded by noon. River plantation is one of my favorite vendors. Be sure to try the cheesy chicken.

If you enjoy shopping then this is for you! Come prepared for crowds. We went on a Friday instead of a Saturday this time, and it wasn't nearly as crowded. Lots of fair food for lunch. Many new products in addition to antiques. It closes down around 5 p.m., and the traffic gets bad, so plan accordingly. The town of Canton has lots of the same stores you will see inside too.

Lots of people. Weather was perfect. More booths - too many for one day. Quality of vendors was good.
