Hideaway at Foxhollow is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. June was a gracious hostess meeting us even though we arrived late. She went out of her way to assist us in anyway possible and took care of our every need.
We visited the Titantic Experience, the Giant Causeway, and Dublin attractions. We enjoyed watching the farm animals in the nearby fields.
A wonderful home away from home!
My family all met here for a 40th birthday get together - 3 generations together and all agreed this is an amazing place. Blew us away with its stylish but homely decor. We felt at ease as we drove up the driveway and with it all lit up, it looked like a magical, fairytale hideaway! The host and her family are very special people who go out of their way to make sure there's special little touches that really makes the stay amazing! The only downside is having to leave, we contemplated claiming squatters rights!
We regularly visit family in Ireland and can honestly say that Hideaway is the best place we have ever stayed at for the last 20 years! The house is beautiful, every detail is taken care of. June goes over and above and has thought of everything. I have never written a review in my many years of travel but felt compelled to after our wonderful stay. June is the nicest host, and Hideaway is the nicest place. We will definitely be back!
Stayed for 2 nights, the house was great, everything immaculately clean and tidy for our arrival, couldn't fault it.
We have just returned from a three night stay at Hideaway at Foxhollow, we were a party of seven adults and we found the accommodation greatly exceeded our expectations, the very generous welcome pack was an added bonus.
The house has everything you could wish for and more, very tastefully decorated, beautiful secluded location but not far to local amenities.
Well placed for exploring the Boyne Valley.
We were welcomed with a roaring fire in the stove and a personal greeting by the owners family who were on hand if needed.
We would unreservedly recommend staying here, a very memorable weekend. Thank you June and family.
To date we have been lucky to have stayed in a some nice places on our travels but we have never been moved to write a review before. Until we stayed here. We were blown away by the comfort and enjoyment we had on this holiday and will definitely make an excuse to return. June has created a dream home away from home, and has thought of and provided all the essentials you may need. Even wellie boots and socks.
I would definitely recommend and score this house and service as 5*
The Hideaway at Foxhollow and June and her family are without a doubt Ireland at its very best and an experience that you won't soon forget. The location is perfect and accessible to not only the beautiful Boyne valley but to any where else in Ireland you wish to travel. Myself and my husband and our 1 year old daughter travelled home from New York for a wedding in nearby Cavan and found it to be the perfect location for visiting my husbands family in Slane and Navan. My own family from Dublin were also able to easily visit us for the day and enjoy the beautiful house. We are already planning our next trip home and will definitely use Foxhollow as a base to travel further a field in Ireland as its the most warm and inviting house to come home to after a day of exploring the countryside. The beds are unbelievably comfy and a better nights sleep you will not get! The decor and furniture are straight out of a magazine! The welcome package of food was unbelievable and the customer service we received from June and her family was superb and hard to beat and we will be forever grateful for the beautiful experience we had there. My daughter actually took some of her first steps here and it will always be a special place for us to visit. We drove away after 4 magical days so sad to be leaving but also excited to plan our next trip back. This is the only place you need to stay when you visit Ireland if your lucky enough to get a reservation. Enjoy!!!
