My 8 year old absolutely loved the caverns - he took almost 100 pictures ! We've been to several caves before and both of us would recommend this one. The tour took about 1.5 hrs. The guide was informative and had very interesting stories to share about the cave.

This is your typical central Texas cave tour, fun and interesting. Tour guide was informative yet humorous.

We went for just the tour and it was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny too. It is nice and cool down in the cavern, so that was great considering the 105 degree outside temp. Information provided was very interesting. I totally recommend checking this out when you are in the area.

My girlfriend loves geology and had never been. This was my fourth visit since first coming as a kid. It's a great stop, with some folksy stories of Texas lawbreakers and lawmen thrown in to boot!

I really would love to give a good review here but can't. The group at 28 people was far too large. The equipment was in total disrepair. Headlamps that dont work and helmets that won't cinch down. (If you go, bring your own roll of duct tape for mid tour repairs.) Worst of all, for all of that crawling around in the mud, you don't see much in the way of formations unless its the shoes and butt of the person crawling in front of you and the distressing amount of grafitti.
Our guide was knowledgable and concerned with the safety of the group but with such a large number of people, I think she and the other guide were outmatched.
