Let me start with the highlights. Perini's is a great place to take out of town guests for a bit of small town, west Texas ranch ambiance. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was very attentive.

Our group ordered ribeyes, prime rib, and a burger. The food quality was excellent but overpriced for west Texas. Perini's has big city prices and a glass of wine was $13! The entree's came with a salad but side dishes were extra. Given that the ribeyes and prime rib were close to $ 40, a side of potatoes and/or vegetable should have been included. Perini's does not even offer a baked potato.

Save yourself some big $$ and purchase Perini's cookbook. It contains all of the restaurant's delicious recipes that you can make at home for a fraction of the restaurant experience. Due to the prices I have to rate Perini's average rather than very good.

Fun place to visit. The food for the most part was good, not great. The Green Chile Hominy was very good. The ribeye was a little tough. It is worth at least one visit.

Always good, always top quality. Get a reservation and be ready to pay for top quality food. It’s a rustic, award winning James Beard restaurant. I have been here numerous times and everything is good. Top whatever you order with some award winning bread pudding!

Perini Ranch is a great place to eat. It's located in a beautiful, park-like setting and the facility itself is a rustic building with an open fireplace. If you like Mesquite-grilled cooking, this is the place. It's a little pricey for steaks, but other fare is moderately priced. Service is excellent and the food is wonderfully prepared. Reservations are a must!
