Best Western was host hotel to my class reunion. Nice new eco friendly property with vibrant, friendly staff and ample free parking.
Bright clean rooms with microwave, fridge, free wi-fi, and flat screen tvs with germ conscious remotes. There is a quite ac unit and user friendly bathroom with modern shower.
Elevators can be slow at peak times but wide stairwells are nearby and easy to use.
Hotel has a pool, free breakfast, and a lounge area but no onsite restaurant. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
South and west facing rooms may experience great sunsets and views of Texas A&M University.
Hotel is located on east bypass with easy access to local attractions.

Room Tip: South and west face rooms for best views. Daytime summer sun may be intense.

This is a new hotel, clean, friendly. Very good hot breakfast. Very nice sitting area and business center. Room was clean and comfortable. Everyone on staff at hotel was friendly from the staff at desk to cleaning people to kitchen staff. I really liked to location as well. If you prefer, there is an IHOP that is next door to the hotel within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again. The only negative is the noise at times of people in room above you.

Brought family for game weekend with typical 2 night minimum. Fantastic clean and renovated room with modern amenities such as microwave, wifi and flatscreen. Great bed, towels and bathroom, all new. The hotel hosted a reception with drinks and appetizers. Breakfast was a hot breakfast with crispy bacon and served on real plates and utensils. The staff was engaging and very attentive to every request. Very nice stay. Two elevators make waiting in this busy hotel managable but they are typically a bit sluggish. Parking for this hotel seems very secure and all cars are within sight. Even though the hotel was full, we never had to walk far. Location is very convenient to all area attractions and shopping without congestion. Pool temp was ice cold (good), hot tub was lukewarm (not good). Staff was extremely nice but should use "my pleasure" instead of "no problem" in response to their attentive service, it would take this hotel to next level. I look forward to staying at this location again! Congratulations for getting it right.

Room Tip: Handicap rooms have appropriately low access and automatic doors which are inconvenient for some.

We visited this hotel and found the room to be beautiful. Had both a refrigerator and a microwave, comfortable bed and great air conditioner. Room was clean and big, as was the bathroom. The included breakfast had scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage patties, french toast and oatmeal. All was well cooked and the sausage actually tasted like it was fried up, not microwaved. Fruit included apples, bananas, fresh blueberries, raspberries and grapes. Tables were cleared quickly. Coffee was good and plentiful.

They have a nice business area with up to date computers and a laser printer. The fitness room had a lot of equipment in it and all of it worked. The pool and spa are outside and on the small side.

The bad parts? Unsupervised kids. Our hallway sounded like a bowling alley with the kids running up and down the halls in the early morning. Calls to the front desk made no difference. The business center had unsupervised kids hogging the computers, playing games online. The fitness center - yep, more kids playing on all the machines. While this points out to bad parenting more than anything else, it also makes one wonder why there are no policies on time usage of the computers, age limits on the kids in the fitness center, etc.

With those exceptions, this was a nice visit but I will probably look elsewhere for my next stay as the hotel does not seem to enforce any standards on the guests behavior.

Had to make a short notice trip to B/CS for a funeral. Usually stay with family there but in this case opted for a hotel. It is well located just off 6 and is fairly new. Rooms are well appointed and nicely decorated. Breakfast was a bit delayed the first morning because someone didn't show up for work but the staff were very apologetic and quickly caught things up. The place could use somemore sound proofing. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The family had arranged a bereavement rate with the hotel which was only slightly less. On-line there was a military rate which was cheaper but was only good on Fri not Sat. I called the hotel direct for the bereavement rate and ask for the military rate on Fri night. The hotel's computer system would not let them book the military rate as they stated it did not apply on Fri or Sat. They seemed unable to override the system even by the supervisor. So I booked the military rate on line and they booked the bereavment rate for the next night and they tied the reservations together and were good to be sure the keys were good for both night even though I had to check in again the second day. I would use the hotel again if the situation required it.

We stayed here when our daughter graduated from Texas A&M. The rooms are spacious and have every amenity you could ask for. The room was ver spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The reasons I could not give this hotel 5 stars were the noise level and free "hot" breakfast. The doors are not soundproof at all, and we heard everyone who walked by our room. There was a nice variety at the free breakfast, however the eggs, bacon, and hash browns were cold. We would stay there again, but would probably eat breakfast at the IHOP next door.

I was a student here a very long time ago and way back then, hotel options in the Brazos Valley were nothing like they are now. I was in town visiting some friends and did a quick TripAdvisor search for where to stay. Reviews for this BW were great and so I booked. I was heading down from Dallas in the evening and got slowed by some seriously torrential thunderstorms that nearly kept me from making it all the way. I called the hotel to let them know and the lady at the front desk was very understanding and friendly - assuring me my room would be available as soon as I arrived. About midnight, I finally made it, trudging into the lobby soaking wet. I was promptly checked, given the explanation of the facility, and then I was off to my room.

WOW! This hotel is beautiful. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The room is huge, spotless, and everything worked - lights, tv, remote, everything. Bed was super comfy. Bathroom and vanity areas were huge and very clean. Nice shower. Great water pressure (although I forgot how much I hate soft water). I had a fantastic night of sleep and was even granted a late check-out which was perfect for that extra hour of nappy nap time in the morning. The breakfast splay is nice and the lobby and eating area are very spacious with plenty of seating.

This hotel is in a perfect location. A little complicated to get to if you're coming from the north, but getting around once you're there is not trouble at all. Ten - fifteen minutes from anywhere you need to be and directly off the freeway. There is a Walgreens located just behind the hotel, so if there are any major necessities or sundries that you may require - it is all within a short walk.

I'm hardly ever in the B/CS area anymore, but if I return - this will be my first and only choice of hotels. The value cannot be beat.
