Geat personal service and the food was very tasty. Watch out for the dipping sauce for the plantain chips - not hot but has a super strong garlic bite that will kick you back on your heels.
Not a lot to the place - just a few tables in a strip mall setting. A great option when you want something different.

“Good Cuban”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2012

Tico's is a small little cafe' located in a shopping center. The restaraunt is kinda plain and small but serves up great flavors. The sandwiches are great. My wife likes the cuban sandwich or the turkey sandwich. I usually order the grilled spicey chicken sandwich. It might be too spicey for others but I like spicey things. The plantain chips are worth a try. We get them everytime. They are complimented with a garlic dipping sauce. Go easy on the sauce, it is very strong. We have also tried the grilled tilapia fillet which was good too. For a different option, try Tico's Cafe in Bridge City
