I booked reservations for a business gathering. Ant Street Inn was very accommodating and fulfilled every need our group had. Our company has and will continue to use Ant Street in as a way to get away from the office atmosphere for important meetings. Thank you so much for making this easy for me.

We have been coming to the Ant Street Inn for 15 years. I love everything about it---the beautiful antiques, the spacious rooms, the generous amenities, and through the years the consistent attention to the smallest details. When I read that the inn had changed owners, my heart sank because I didn't want it to change. We visited last weekend, however, and I am happy to report that it has not. The new owners seem to be following the wonderful formula that has made the inn so special for so many years. We had a great time.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! And you are absolutely right: the previous owners had developed a wonderful formula. Our greatest challenge is making sure that we serve our guests with the same grace and hospitality the Traylors displayed, providing an environment that brings rest, rejuvenation and sanctuary from the rigors of the day, whether thoses stresses are caused by a business activities, carrying shopping bags full of the day's newly acquired treasures, or the wedding of your beloved daughter or son. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Like so much of Brenham, TX, the Ant Street Inn is quaint and personable. The front desk lacks the fancy gloss of most hotels these days but absolutely makes up for it in service. Real people, that are dedicated to the hotel, greet you, arrange for your room and offer a bit of history. I have been a guest of the meeting room on a number of occasions for company off site meetings and the hosts have always been great. The rooms are an extension of the historical roots of the building. The feature a small writing desk, a large bedroom space and creak old wood floors. Classic details like stained glass, a large foyer, grand corridor and historical furniture send you back in time. Great hotel, great service.

The Ant St. Inn was a beautiful step back in history. We had the 2 bedroom suite with a living room and kitchen because of health needs. It was all decorated with antiques and the bedrooms are quite large. We could not hear any noise from our neighbors. The beds had good quality mattresses and we slept very well.

We used the ballroom with our group of classmates and enjoyed having the balcony on the back of the property.

One can walk around the square easily from the Inn and there are several restaurants within walking distance. We also enjoyed the breakfast (included in the price) next door.

Keith and Suzy are great Innkeepers and will help you in any way they can. Be sure and read all the history on the Inn.

There is no elevator but Keith and Cindy helped with our luggage, (Suzy was out of town). I left some important papers in the suite, called the next day and Suzy found them and mailed them to me. We are a group of eighteen, 69 year olds.

Room Tip: All the rooms are decorated with antiques, but ask to see the one with the antiquated freight elevat...

I really enjoyed my stay at the ASI. The rooms are very spacious, wonderfully furnished with antiques. It was very quiet, you almost did not know there were other guests. I had only had one minor blip, that was solved quickly.
I would highly recommend staying at the Ant Street Inn. Oh, and talk to the innkeeper about the history of the building. It's fascinating.

We recently returned to the Ant Street Inn for Round Top weekend. Our stay was wonderful. It is a great location for going to antique stores and is close to Round Top. We stay at a lot of bed and breakfasts and would rate Ant Street as the best in Texas by far. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. The veranda is a wonderful place to relax and have a drink at the end of the day. The atsmosphere through out the inn has a lot of character. The restaurant is very convenient anf the food is great. It is the best breakfast selection of any B&B that we have stayed. There is a great coffee area in th upstairs lobby offering free ice cream and snacks. It is a real nice touch. I would highly reccommend the Ant Street Inn. Without doub t, one of the best for the cost.

Room Tip: We love the Louisville. It overlooks the beautiful verandah. Mid price range makes it a good choice.

Before making reservations I read the reviews and must say I was impressed...but not as impressed as I was with our stay. The inn has such character ,the rooms are very beautiful and, as other guest have stated , the veranda offers a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the evening.
I think the pride that the Hankins have in their inn is part of the reason it is so well run and the amenities they offer make you feel they are sharing their home not just their buisness.
I would definitley recommend this wonderful inn!

Room Tip: The St. Louis offers windows on two sides and is next to the veranda.
