In a converted Western Auto store on old Main St. in Brenham just a block away from the really neat Washington county Art Deco courthouse lies a really neat quaint sandwich shop with really friendly folks & amazing deserts. The front half of the restaurant is an old fashioned soda fountain as if you stepped back into the 50's or 60's. There is usually a line but it moves quickly & the food is really good. But for the coup de grace, is the really delicious variety of pies & a very good bread pudding! The pies, of course, may be graced with a generious dollup of- what else?- Blue Bell ice cream! Afterwards, stroll the many antique stores in the adjoining blocks & enjoy a nicely restored Main St. small town feel. Well worth a road trip to Brenham on a Saturday afternoon!
