This is a great short tour of the Blue Bell Creamery. They show you through a portion of the creamery and how they change flavors and what is popular at the time. The tour ends with a free ice cream cone. Their ice cream is yummy.

This short tour is well worth the time. They say it is only 1/3 of a mile but seems to be much shorter due to the continual viewing of ice cream being packaged. The end of the tour is the best!!! Free dip of ice cream!!!

This is an awesome experience for all ages... People From 2-100+ Years old will enjoy the tour on this Blue Bell facility. In the ticket area they have a gallery with the history of Blue Bell with pictures, machinery and a lot of stuff from the time the family company started. You can have your own paper-made ice cream salesman hat and while you wait for your 45 min tour time (when you buy the ticket they will give you the time you tour will start) . You will be able to see all the process to make the more delicious ice cream...and the best part ....at the end...you will have a free ice cream. This tour is only available on week days. No Saturday tours. I visited on spring break mid April) and the weather was just perfect !

This tour was a fun stop. You get to see the production line for several flavors of ice cream, and then a sample at the end of the tour. I will never look at a gallon of ice cream the same again. Who knew that the way they get the ice cream to the very top of the containers is by freezing them upside down???
